I thought I would just post what happened to me yesterday morning after working all night.
I believe my EHC lost its mind for the morning. I get off work in the dark and turn the ignition on only to get the two yellow right and left turn Led lights on the tachometer blinking together with all 4 turn signal lights also blinking and the head light is off. It is almost exactly like you pushed both right and left turn signal lights to turn on the emergency flashers except I didn't do that.
The other difference was there were no Dakota Digital lights on the Speedometer. No button pushed would change this condition.
So, I turn the key switch to off and remove the seat and then turn the ignition key back on. The EHC Fault LED lights all light up for what seems like a long period of time (normally they come on and go right out leaving the Yellow Power and Green Controller On LED lit). After all the LED lights go out, then the Yellow PC LINKED and Red Memory Check lights are left on and that is all I get.
After about 12 attempts to get something else to happen, I get a ride home. It has been very wet the previous three mornings but this morning is not bad with 99% humidity and 60 degrees out.
I go back to work with the truck and trailer (the only time I have had to trailer my bike) and the bike is back to normal after sitting in the sun all day.
Why the PC linked LED stayed lit, I don't know. But since the Memory Check lights stayed lit, I am going with my bike had a lapse in memory.
Again, I just thought I would share this.
