EHC for 06 k9

HI everyone, i am in kind of a pickle right now. big dog is telling me i will have to wait till Sept or later for a replacement EHC. Being that i live in CO that is my entire riding season shot. So I am hoping that someone on this site might have one or be able to get one. my email is troymon@gmail.com . this might be a faster way to contact me. My bike is an 06 K9. If there is anyone out there that can help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Ditch that thing and go with the wire plus. When my EHC takes a dump thats where I'm goin.

So did you go to the link or are you on a phone where you can't see it. The kit is like 410 bucks but I think LowDown gives a 10% member discount if you use the code "BDBM". Of course you have to install it as well which takes a little wiring skill like being able to install cimps and pushing them into connectors nothing major though. A lot of the guys on the forum have installed them and are raving about how much better they are than the EHC. And with the direction BD seems to be going the further we can get from their proprietary crap the better.

As TheDeadOne said, "Don't waste your time with another EHC.", especially if you're going to be spending over $350 for one!

I replaced the EHC on my '05 Chopper when I suspected that it was the cause of my bike doing a total shutdown at random times. Purchased it from LowDownChopShop, installed it myself in a few hours (could have done it faster, but took my time to make sure I didn't make any mistakes), and so far, it's worked great! No more shutdowns (knock on wood).

Troy: PM "CHAINGUNNER" He just replaced his EHC with a wire plus. I'm sure he will sell it. Comes off of an 07 K9.

hey guys thanks for all the feedback and help. Bigdog guys called me today and they pulled one out of a test bike. should be back up and riding by FRIDAY!
