I am going to try Axel´s new EHC.... It looks like he´s got all sorted out. :old2:

PS: I keep trying to jinx myself but it isnt working.... still with my original 05 EHC. (since I started to take the K9 off-roading, everything else had problems but Motor & Electrics) :whoop:

:chopper:
But why try? The EHC is good for the life of the bike. Remember? Blahahahaha..

Guys,
I just replaced my WP with the R,I.P kit. The RIP kit makes much more sense when replacing the original Big Dog module. RIP has all connectors to match up with the original. If you've installed a WP kit, you will have some challenges. Installing the WP kit requires you to cut connectors off and do some splicing.
I did get the RIP kit installed. All lights, horn, turn signals and tach appear to work fine. Only problem is NO START!!!
Coninues to give a stressing starter sound - turn key on, press Start and you hear the starter solenoid kick into place and strain, but the engine will not turn over.
Ended up replacing the battery. SAME!
Fully charged the new battery over night - SAME!
Removed spark plug and turned the motor over several times (starter worked fine with the spark plug removed).
Replaced spark plug. switched key on, pressed start - Whoa Houston we have lift off!
BUT....lots of back fire and associated noises. Definately not running on both cylinders. Turn off quickly and have to re-think this process.
I may have mis connected the cylinder position sensor with the ignition leads. Check tonight after work.
Anyone with other ideas would greatly be appreciated.
You have a wire crossed somewhere in the ign system. Easy to do. Good luck.
