06 K9 stock ehc finally gave it up. Replaced it yesterday with the RIP 2 and let me say was pretty simple and had detailed instructions. My bike has always started good BUT let me tell u, yday after the RIP install in spun over like it had 1000 amp battery in it. Fast and immediate. I don’t know if these factory ehc’s are not letting the starter get all the power or not but I know it’s a BIG difference now.

Good to hear they now provide "good" instructions. Years ago i bought a Rip first generation as a spare and later sold it to a member. When he was installing it he found the color coding of some wires were not correct. Glad they are now on spot
