forgive my ignorance but what is the difference between engine control monitor and a ehc ? my battery died away from home. area parts store had interstates on hand. installed and the bike ran fine for 80 miles on the interstate then violent popping, flamed exhaust, occured. all connections are good and clean. all opinions appreciated.
