EHC all lights on!

Is this a code being given by my EHC? My bike has shut off a few times lately! First time it happened, I cleaned and reapplied dielectric compound to the plugs on EHC! Fixed it! Then yesterday after an oil change, it would not restart! I Did the same thing again, it started, run for a minute and shut off. Restarted, shutoff! Restarted, shutoff! Then restarted with all lights on for a minute, then went to normal! Did this thing go though some sort of reset?

yes it probably reset. do you have the black smart ehc. disconnect your battery and then hook up the positive terminal first. turn the key off and wait a minute. then turn the key on and the ehc should reset.

What year bike and is it EFI?

Sounds like an intermittent wire contact. I would start by disconnecting the battery starting with the ground wires FIRST. GROUNDS: OFF first, ON last (per S&S). I would start with the EHC harness connectors in making sure the housing pins are not pushing back UP into the harness connector. In other words they are all properly clipped into the connector housing. Good chance they are okay but it doesn't hurt to eliminate that possibility at some point.

When I had ALL EHC lights come on and had intermittent shut downs it ended up being poor battery connections at the wire to crimp ends.

I would check ALL wires going to the battery -small and large- for being clean and having good solid crimps on the ring-crimp type connectors. Clean ALL battery cable and smaller wire ends that bolt to the battery with a brass brush.

Keyswitch internal connection could be getting worse condition if original. Different symptoms though. All lights ON indicates a possible power problem.

Let us know how it goes.

Hey Ground Pounder, EHC is in a gold case with black top! It did it again today but did start and run. All lights were on from the hit, then after several minutes of running, it went to normal, one lite constant and two blinking! Rode it for a while, all good! If she shuts off on me, in a pinch could I run a hot and ground to the plug leading into the ignition module to limp back in?!! What few times it has shutoff on me, everything is working, just no fire to the holes!!

Does it backfire or anything before it quits or does it just quit like all electrical power is removed?

If it backfires or chugs before quitting then you might want to try and loosen up your gas cap cause your tank might not be venting properly. My 08 Mastiff use to do that.
