Will the Thundercycle D2 s fit with the stock air cleaner?

Yes, they will fit. Check out his web site. They build them for big dogs. Cost 1,100 bucks. Look under big dog parts.

Jim, those D2's seemed to be fine until he had them coated black.

Problems after powder coating? Thats sucks, that is what I was planning on doing.

i had the d2's on my bike and there is no clearance isssue with the stock air cleaner . I had them painted black and had no problem with them excapt they got really HOT. especially rear cylinder near your leg

Watch your battery cover, Doug g's got so hot it melted the paint off.

Black ceramic coat them inside and out. Cure all your problems.
