being that mine is a 06...I have the G
I heard the G carbs are the better ones.......but some people like the E for their own riding styles.....to each their own....

I just want to get all it can give. I met a local bike mechanic that has a killer setup for tuning . He's got a dyno, a flow table for heads, way too much too list. Gas, not sure what your plans are to dyno out your new pipes but you may want to check this guy out. He's in South Lyon. He's a good ole drunk with a lot of knowledge. Takes me about an hour and a half to drop off a seat because he want to bullshit, which is cool. Well partially my fault as I can't refuse a free tallboy, or 2.

Seat, I had the G on my 03 and had it modified by Zippers with the Thunderjet.
My 05 came with the E carb. When Triple X separated from Davinci they ran a small add in Easyrider and I contacted them and had my E carb modified by them.
They have a lot of info on their website about the differences in the E or G.
Anyway, the E does all I want it too. The smaller bore provides more velocity for lower end performance and the G has a larger bore for higher end performance.
With my high mileage I want driveability (gas mileage) and get it from the E. If you want high end performance upgrade to the G.
All depends on what you want I guess!

This is why IM looking at the PSI. It flows 38mm at the bottom then you get 48mm on top. 05chop

Seat... you probably have the restrictor plates as well. We should get that stuff out when you dyno it!!!

I will need to get mine dyno'ed this summer... need to find a good place... so I may interested... maybe run over and check him out before getting the bike done. Either way I want to be around when its getting ran. Would also like to vid tape it.

Good info guys. Raywood, you mentioned a site that defines the differences, what's the site?
The site is the xXx site. Bob talks about the difference in velocity over volume. Depends on what you want. I'm not into the speed thing so I'm good with an everyday rider as per my 43,000 miles on my 05 Chopper!

Still depends on what you want. Everyday rideability or bar hopping performance! :D

Yea Gas, I'm sure he'd have no problem letting you stick around while it's being done. Let me know when you want to go make a visit. 43,000 miles Raywood, that great. Gives me a warm fuzzy when thinking about making these longer runs this summer. Oh well, off to shovel the 6-12 inches of snow in my driveway.
