Dyno variance???

Your flat spot(accel. pump) can be adjusted out by dialing in the progressivity thru your tuner (SEST, or TTS Mastertune). :eek: This is comon on "Fly by Wire" throttlebodies. The tech just needs to know how to do it. :confused:
If you don't have one of the above tuners, you're SOL. :bang:

John Sachs: Yes, I am running SEST on the SG. On the initial tune (after the 107 kit was installed), he indicated he was able to 'adjust the individual cells' of the SEST(unsure what that means). When I mentioned the low RPM hesitation, he said he could re-adjust the tune but suggested riding it for awhile. He and I have had several discussions regarding the engines inconsistent low RPM behavior...and he sounds like he has a good plan on the re-tune...so, I'm optimistic he'll be able to dial it in.

Something I noticed the 6200 rev limit on dyno 1, 6500 on dyno 2. The shape of the curve is so different also. My 2 cents- something changed or they are not the same bike

free: I had similar thoughts after receiving the sheet from the 2nd dyno run. I then graphed HP and TQ numbers from both sheets to view them as an overlay. I began at 2400 and went to 5800 in 200rpm increments. Between the two graphs, in the power to RPM range, I found HP differences from 7 (at 2400rpm) to 14 (at 5000rpm), and TQ differences from 12 to 17 (at 2600rpm)....all of which prompted me to begin this thread...it just seemed a dramatic difference.
