I have been reading a bunch of dyno sheets lately on the forum so I decided to take mine down and do a pull. I drove it about 45 minutes to get there and the bike only cooled down about 15 minutes before they made the pulls. Anyway, the bike runs pretty good for a big ole sled.....

Hey nomad what do you all have done to your bike ?
Because it is a EFI bike an they come with plain tappet rockers and a single wound .585 lift springs I had to address this no matter what I did compared to the good ole carbureted bikes and what they come with. The stock OEM EFI system is a S&S VFI Single band with a propriety map and all it wants to do is adjust to a EPA 14.7 AFR so it all had to go because I want to tune the bike and it learn on its own.

It still has the stock air box on it so I know if it suffering for air in too

S&S Roller Rockers
JIMS .675 Lift valve springs
Red Shift 656V2 Cam with some clearance work
Stock jugs cut 25 thousands

John Sachs did my head work and props go to him for his work and knowledge..:2thumbs:
He helped me out more than anyone will ever know. Do not hesitate to use him or believe in him
Heads were ported and polished and the springs set up for the cam.
John installed 2.02 and 1.615 valves and put in new valve guides
John set up the heads for a 11-1 compression after I told him how far the pistons were in the hole and milled the heads

I have a R&B Racing 2-1 pipe

I installed a Wide Band Thundermax EFI for all my tuning needs. Jason at the Thunderheart factory did the initial mapping for me and continues to help me and refine things. They did the original install or conversion of the wide band on my Big Dog to see what it would take after talking to them. It is a easy conversion for those with a EFI bike. I am using a two piece unit due to the space and the EHC bracket. A one piece unit will fit if you modify where the battery hold down rubber strap attaches at. I will do this sometime and eliminate the EHC as well.

This bike has a lot more in it and I need to do some tuning on it when I have time. For what it is worth and when I get someone to film for me to back it up, at 30 mph if you tach it up and turn it loose, it will start spinning the 300mm and pull the front tire off the ground....
Its a Big Dog...and sometimes a bad dog

Hey Neil...

Seriously, with that power, you need to get one of the new Venom Cobra rear tires on that thing. Night and day difference on how they hook up. I have done a handful of mods to my bike, and mine too would just smoke the tire through second gear.

Since I swapped the tire it does no spinning any more, but boy can I get the front end in the air now!!!

It puts so much more of the power to the road! Hope you have a Bandit Clutch in it too!

You know I ordered one the last time I bought a tire and they sent me the old style. I was in a pinch for time so returning it was out of the question seeing how it would mount up. When I told them they told me I was mistaken and that they did not have any old style in stock..That was eastern performance..Go figure...

The clutch believe it or not is a stock BDM Unit. It was replaced and is pretty new seeing how the old one was lost at the factory. It has not slipped and held fine so far but it will be replaced with a Bandit at some point...

What I need is a good air cleaner assembly that flows good...
