Dynabeads in New Front Tire ?

Hey guys , new avon venom front tire installed today on my ridgeback.
Anyone use the dynabeads instead of the stick on weights and are you happy with them?

Anyone with a worn beaded tire that shows steps in the front tire? Then a sticky is no better than a bead.

Anyone see how a tire statically falls or rolls to the same stop? Then a sticky will stop it at any position you stop it at, a bead will not... Yeah, yeah, keep your pants on.

Anyone run beads for land speed records? And someone is saying the natural balance moves there via bead... Hard to fathom.

I'm not gonna say I'm for them or against them. I will just repeat what the shop that mounted the new tires told me and what my observation was with the tires they were in. The shop said the tire manufacturers would not warranty the tire if you added beads of any brand to them. You will have to check that out, I did not call Dunlop. As for the tire they were in ..... I read that the beads were reusable if you could recover them, so I was there when they took the tire off the rim. The front tire was cupped, so was it because of the beads ... I don't know. I also read on one or more of the bead manufacturers web sites that their beads would not scour the inside of the tire. When we removed the tire there was as much rubber dust as there were beads, there was also about a 2" wide track around the middle of the tire where the rubber came from. I'm not going to say which brand beads they were because I'm not posting this to bash any of them, the beads I used were ceramic and I weighed them out using a postal scale ... I know at least two bands are ceramic. The tire was a Avon.

I used them for the first time when I swapped my front tire last year. Used them mainly because I did my own tire swap at home and it was easier than bringing it somewhere to balance, plus it got rid of those ugly weights. So far so good, no issues and rides great, I'd used them again!

I originally bought Dynabeads for the Big Dog but never used them. I thought I would and then I didn't. I have 5 bikes which I change the tires on myself and then balance them. I use chrome stick on weights for the Big Dog. I take my time balancing a tire and have never had a tire balance issue.

My 1999 Dodge RAM 2500 4WD is a different story. I could never find a place that could balance the larger size 305/70R16 tires. Two years ago, I decided to bubble balance my tires and put BBs in for experimentation. I was happy with the BBs. I didn't see any rubber tire dust and the BBs looked good but you can't use them over again. They are cheap at Wal-Mart. So, this year I purchased 4 new tires from Amazon, bubble balanced them, drove on the tires for approximately 100 miles. Being happy with the balance (I did one tire at a time drove the truck and then the next), I removed all the wheels, broke the beads, and poured in Dynabeads for truck tires. I have been very happy with the results I was able to obtain. I am projecting that I won't have to bother with the Tires again until it is time for a new set!

Was told the same about warranty and scuffing in the tire. Stuck with the sticky weight, and machine balance. Rides fine and wear looks to be even.

2 oz in front 3oz in rear 300, I have been using them for about 10K miles, they have worked great for me. I can't see the inside wearing out faster than the outside. When I have changed tires the beads are about 50/50 as far as being black and white

My experience with beads isn't with motorcycle tires, but I'm thinking that it applies to all tires.
I'm a motor carrier. The tires on trucks are a huge cost
I use Counteract balance beads. And have seen a 13% increase in tire life & a very slight increase (less than 1%) increase in fuel milage by using balance beads over traditional spin balancing. I also recommend using nitrogen in tires over air. Nitrogen does not support humidity, nor does it expan or contract to the extent air does.
Oh , and by the way, the trucks ride smoother with beads & I don't have to rebalance. Haven't needed to rotate the tires near as often either.

Love 'em, on my third rear tire and second front with the Dyna Beads. Great results!! Bike rides better, better tire wear and life.

I've heard to many good reviews on them to say they aren't what they claim. But I also believe there may be some conditions where they aren't the best choice. The roads get so hot out here ... the asphalt smells just like when you have a valve cover leak some oil onto the header (took me a year to quit looking for oil leaks on my jeep) hahaha. Rough roads seem like they would keep the beads on the move, thus scouring. And as brought up earlier, a wheel that is 7oz out and only 1 1/2oz of beads ?? I hate the ugly ass weights also so I wanted to find reasons to use the beads again.
