You are correct, I mis-read the first post. Sorry for my lack of reading ability.

Dynabeads to do a big dog both tires is under $20 and can go in thru the valve stem no need to break the bead
That is interesting one of your pics looks like a slice on the inside of the tire?Well I'm going to bring up a dead horse, because I just ran into something I've never seen before. I even went back and looked at the several used tires I have laying around here. None of them show any wear on the inside of the tire.
@Forsaken stopped by on his way up from Florida, because he was having some high speed wobble. After checking the neck bearings and wheel bearings, I spun the tire and seen it had a broke belt in it. Tire date is 7715, and was put on two years ago, and has less the 2000 miles on it.
The first thing I saw when I took the tire off was powered rubber all over the rim, and looking inside the tire, you can see the ridges were all wore off the inside. And it had a big crack in it. He probably ran over something.
I don't believe the beads caused the tire problem, but was surprised at the loose rubber in it. Weighed the beads, and there was 2ozs.

They have sizes? That's unreal wear on the inside, I wonder if it was the beads or not? Avon tire? I do know the Avon's are quite a bit softer than some other tire companies. Maybe a bad tire from a bad batch or something. Next set I replace I might go with the new dual compound Michelin tires which are harder in the middle and softer on the sides. I ran those on some street bikes with good luck.
I looked a while back and don't think The Michelin Man made tires for our dogs. That's unreal wear on the inside, I wonder if it was the beads or not? Avon tire? They do. I ran a rear awhile back, and it wore ok, but I didn't like the ride. It felt like it didn't want to ride on the center of the tire, and it didn't last any longer than any of the othersI looked a while back and don't think The Michelin Man made tires for our dogs.
I sent him my bike in March, He's doing some upgrades and some PM, can't wait to get it back. He must be super busy these days and I will not bother him. Take a picture for me lol. Good luck with the new rims and tires. The Avon bad batches were about 5-6 years ago I researched and made some calls before deciding to go with new avons when I go to Andrew Barnes this Friday also it was all sizes in Avon that was affected not just the 300

If that is the case I'm glad I didn't get any. They do. I ran a rear awhile back, and it wore ok, but I didn't like the ride. It felt like it didn't want to ride on the center of the tire, and it didn't last any longer than any of the others
Really there isn't a specified amount if you get correct on it, the shop that does mine, spins em on the balancer and whatever it calls for is what they put, re spin and it usually zeros out.Last winter I replaced tires on my K9 and put 1 oz of dyna beads in the front which is whats recommended on the dyna bead tire chart. It does bounce a little but just noticed some are running 2 oz in front. Is this what I should do?
Yes you can try going up 1/2 ounce at a time until it balances out.Last winter I replaced tires on my K9 and put 1 oz of dyna beads in the front which is whats recommended on the dyna bead tire chart. It does bounce a little but just noticed some are running 2 oz in front. Is this what I should do?
Makes sense. Since I dont have a shop close, I will try the 1/2 oz steps this weekend. Im pretty religious about correct psi before each ride so thats not the issue. Probably just not quite enough beads yet. Thanks guys!!!Yes you can try going up 1/2 ounce at a time until it balances out.
Check the tire pressure too. I notice I get a wheel hop at 60-65 if my tire pressure is a little low.
