Dyna 2000 dipswitches question

I have a 04 pitbull and a 04 mastiff. Different coils on them both. What should the dipswitches be set at on them?

If it has 2 wires on the coil, it it a duel fire coil. If it has 3 wires, it is a single fire coil.

Page 3 of the file Rottweiler gave you will tell you which setting to use and page 5 will help you identify your coil type.

Yes, you would just need to change the switching on the Dyna from Dual to Single Fire. You'll have an extra wire at the coil, you won't use the BLUE wire anymore. You should be left with a Pink/White doesn't matter which way you attach it, leave the Blue wire just cut and heat shrink and tuck it away.

I think in your other thread you asked why it would only fire one cylinder. If you had the dual setup the Dyna Module needs to be set to dual and the wires are specific. and if mixed up it will only fire on one cylinder. Pink to Rear head, White to middle terminal (+), Blue to Front head.

Now those are the wire colors out of the DYNA so if someone changed them, or tied into the original harness that will be a little more challenging to figure out as you'll have to trace everything back to the DYNA module in the nosecone
