Dumb question

Should I have 12v to the breaker switch next to the battery?:confused:

I have power to everything to the bike but the ThunderHeart mod. As far as I can see I have power to everything, getting 12.5 to and from all connections.:bang:

not a dumb question at all Oscar....I would think that if the breaker was tripped...you wouldn't get anything at all...

Now, another question.....

when the switch button is pressed should it click? I'm not sure that this short stop breaker is any good.

if your circuit breaker is tripped...you should feel it click in when you push it.
I don't use my CB...when we did my Wire Plus....I went with using a 40 amp fuse...:cheers:

Did I miss something when I installed mine? I don't remember what I did.:bang::bang::bang:

I'll have to look at it tonight. I had the bike running last week and now I have nothing. :angry: So far this year I put 5 mles on it and that was just a test ride. I'm about due to get rid of this thing and get something else.:rolleyes: Just getting tired of working on this and it's getting old.:down:

I don't have the wire plus just the stock set up. The stock circuit breaker is for voltage retruning back to the battery from the voltage regulator. If the breaker was tripped and you rode the bike you were running just on the battery with no juice coming back to run the bike and keep the battery built up. Is your battery drained? V

I didn't notice to be honest with you V. I'm just running through the motions in trying to figure out why all of a sudden I have nothing to the TH module. I power running through everywhere but there.

It's a brand spanking new one that I got from Strokers last week and there really is no way in checking it to see if it's good.

I'll be taking the tanks off and check all of the wiring once again to see if I see anything out of the ordinary.

Here's two ways to tell:

1. Set your meter on VDC then put one of the leads (doesn't matter which) on one wire going to the breaker and put the other lead on the other wire. If you get "0" volts, the breaker is good.

or...

2. Set your meter the same way as in #1 then touch the black lead to the battery negative and touch the red lead to each of the wires on the circuit breaker (one at a time, of course). If you measure 12V on both sides of the breaker, it's good.

So what do you get? :)

Got it.
Checked it out last night and came up with the readings of 0 on #1 and 12v on #2.

So it's good. Thanks Dennis.:up:
