Those of you with a S&S Duel Runner, what jets are you at before and after installing it.
I've gone from a 31 to a 33 intermediate and from a 78 to 80 main.

Just curious, im surprised at the difference.

34-80 with XXX carb, dual runner, and Thunderheart ignition. Gas mileage is down, but the bike runs well from low to high rpm

you sure you have a .034 intermediate

Just curious how you got your intermediate jet to .034, i took a .033 to have it drilled to .034 and they don't make a .034 drill bit. That's why s&s goes from a .033 to .036 on there jet steps

Zippers has them. They are redrilling existing intermediate jets and sanding/grinding the original size off of it. I got a .34 here I have not tried yet.

I tried it just for kicks to see. All I did was turn her over and knew right away to rich. And the engine is modified so there ya go. 34 & 35 are probably better but with right combo. She'd be a gas guzzler fer sure.. Peace

Still had a severe stumble with 33 int. Tried everything before i went up again and when all is said and done a 36 and the air screw removed and she's screamin.
Never thought it take it .

I installed a dual runner about a month ago, and after the installation it stumbled quite a bit, I called S&S and they told me to remove the "bowl vent plug" on my carb. After I removed it , It has been running great ever since. After reading several posts, it seems everyone is increasing their jets, do I need to do the same even though now it runs ok?

I also run a xxx carb from Bob. Highly modified BDM air cover (front mesh and lower part machined off, K&N).
Ran a 33 intermediate first - too lean. Now I'm waiting for a 34 and 35 from Bob.

Seems that the xxx needs slightly larger jets than the unmodified Super G.

No exact science here – depends on different factors including exhaust, carb, filter, cam, etc.

General guide lines – move the int and main in proportion, most common configs:
76-31
78-32
80-33
82-33

The AIR BLEED is extremely IMPORTANT as well for a smooth int-main transition – I have had different opinions and views regarding this. Irrespective I have had great success with 50 +-2 (This is with a XXX carb)

Finally when using any hi flow filter REMOVE the BOWL VENT – this is a MUST
