Dual Runner question

I just installed my new dual runner and I have a question regarding the black hose coming off the old stock breather. Do I hook that hose up to the silver fitting towards the front of the bike and cap off the brass vent or visa versa? Also is it important to remove the bowl vent plug. I have a 2005 Chopper with a 117 motor.

If there's no connection to the back of the air cleaner then just let the hose hang down between the front and rear cylinders. Would be wise to remove the carb vent bowl plug too...

Brew,I'm talking about the hose that was connected to the stock breather. Which port do I connect it to on the Dual Runner. Sorry about the confusion.

Plug the breather hose into the front port and use one of the black supplied caps to plug off the back one. Just installed my S&S dual runner and had the same confusion. Had to read the instructions twice.

No I didn't. Had Kendall Johnson double check a few things too before he dyno tuned it 2 weeks ago while also installing the zippers thunder jet pro and he didn't take it out. I've seen it done both ways. Not sure what difference it would make though.

If it gives you problems (at the jet transition RPMs, 2500-3000) take it out... The S&S Manual also say to take it off if you change the air cleaner.

Thanks to all. I will put the cover over the brass fitting and wait to see if I need to remove the vent.
