dry gaskets

im not seeing anything in manual or S&S engine book about any kind of gasket sealer on anything above the cases...are you guys using anything on base, head, intake or lifter block gaskets??

No. Just did the top end on 1 and asked S&S & the shop that did the machine work. Both said put them on dry (I did vasoline the intake O-Rings a little).

Ditto on the vasoline on the intake seals as Relic said. Doesn't need much. Just enough to keep her from hittin the headboard.
