I’ve been looking for a step by step on replacing the drive belt on a BDM Pitbull. With no luck. There is no description in the service manual. Anyone have a breakdown on it.
No you probably won’t find a step by step breakdown. But being you have a RSD bike it should be a heck of a lot easier than changing one on a LSD. May I ask why you are wanting to change your belt?

Something pushed up through the belt. View attachment 141395
Well that sucks! So to start you will need to have the bike on a scissor lift of some sort. Remove the axle covers. Then take some pics of the bushings locations before disassembly on both sides so you get them back in the right spot. Should be 2 on the brake side and one on the drive pulley side. They go back on in a specific way so make sure you mark which side goes towards the bearings. Should be a small lip on that side. Then take pictures of your axle adjustment bolts so when you put it all back together you can put the adjuster’s back on the exact thread count it was at previously for your current belt adjustment. Theres a small hole in the joint at the frame to access the axle adjustment bolts. There’s a hex head plug & THEN the axle adjustment bolt. (At least there should be a plug first). The axle should have a retaining bolt on one end. 3/4” I think. Remove it then lower the bike until the wheel lightly touches and you should be able to pull the axle out. You may need to put something like a small wooden dowel in the end the retainer was in and tap it lightly with a rubber mallet to get it to go. Just be careful not to damage any threads where the retainer goes in. Getting those big wheels off with the brake assembly can be tricky. Just take your time and try not to scratch anything. Hope this helps you get going.
