Drag Bar Advice

Ok so I love the look of my Ridgeback but have always had drag bars on ALL my previous bikes. I am not liking the pull backs anymore and wanna go with something a little more upright with a little reach to sit me up slightly like I have always been used to in the past. I have seen a few pics here of some bikes that have went this route but after many a search I cannot find bars that would work on our bikes.

Can anyone out there point me in the right direction of some options that would work with changing to risers and something that are fat enough to fit our grips and switches.

Thanks in advance!

I doubt you will find 1 1/4 inch bars all the way to fit the BD controls. You might be able to shim a set of Harley bars.

I assume you're trying to avoid the expense or changing your switches and controls, right? Just askin', because I did some new bars a few years ago (similar to drag bars) and never really liked the stock switches, so changed over to Harley style/aftermarket controls; as it turns out, it's probably my favorite modification (of many). If you were to decide to switch out to 1", your bar choices are unlimited. Had some pics on my hard drive I wanted to post for you but apparently my hard drive ate them.

Sorry Dan but I don't think so.
The bars are tapered down to accept Harley's controls.

Like Bill said ......

Not sure of fit, but check out the stock bars on a 03 Put Bull. Semi one piece drag bars/w risers. Just a suggestion.

If you want to keep the stock switches you can buy any bar you then cut and weld the 1" bar with the 1 1/4" BD bars right where the switches and controls are. Some guys have done this and it came out clean enough where you didn't see it.

I'm not 100% sure but you might be able to just cut the ends off your BD bars and slip them over the HD and weld. Not 100% sure on that but it's worth a look - not sure if the ID/OD will line up right but you might be able to flare it out a bit with a little heat.
