Big Radius bracket broke at the two rear spot welds. Got that welded and painted up nicely. Went to put it back together and the "dog bone" female that slides into the slot of the V&H Big Radius breaks lose as I tighten it down. I think I may have cross threaded it but not sure. No resistance until snugged.

Had to grind a hack saw blade and cut the bolt loose by hand and that took forever. Anyway all back together now and all is well.

Thanks Lee. I'm not sure why V&H would only tack weld the rear of the bracket and not run the bead. I think that would have prevented it from cracking...maybe. I will call them about that. I'm sure they have heard it before.

Mine did the same thing. Have heard from some people that contacted V&H that they shipped them a new one for free. Just had mine welded and painted. Haven't had a problem since.

Funny, I just had to re-weld my bracket as well...
Think it must be a weak spot
