Ok, as part of my winter build I bought a new Doherty Power Pacc from Vickie to install. Now that the engine looks so good I can't bring myself to use the stock air filter. I will be using an Eddie Trotta velocity stack so that none of the chrome carb is covered. The Doherty retails for $239, I paid Vickie about $200 for it, I will sell it here for $150 including Priority Mail shipping. It is Doherty part number 1258, brand new but I have opened the box. Here is the link to my winter project so that you can see why I don't want to use the Doherty at this point.

Shredder....I might be interested.....but it might be a couple of weeks before I get some extra cash.....had to pay my bike insurance....
If you still have it.....I will buy it...
I'm assuming that is the same part # that I need for my bike.....

Dave,
All of our bikes (the 117") use the same part number. No hurry on my end selling it, just cant use it now.

Power PACC Notes from the Field

Mine ( '07 K9) was installed just before Daytona Bike Week, so this is still pretty fresh...

Nothing fancy on my engine, using stock air cleaner cover (w/ louvers).

Ordered in a replacement "choke/enrichener" knob, pics in J&P, ~$50. Looks much better than stuff supplied by Doherty.

With Power PACC installed, need to remove it to do jet work.

Supplied spacers were not correct, had to procure from hardware store.

Using stock breather tubing, needed to do a little relief work on the PACC to make it all fit.

When all is said and done, I have no complaints, but was not prepared for the above when I ordered it (fm Vickie of course).

Certainly, the spacers needed a washer on each end and different bolts. But what looks better? What part of customizing did anybody think was straight bolt on? Trust me... ITS NOT!

And don't run the rear breather to the plate... put that shit to the ground!!

Of coarse... I chromed all of my doherty before I did the install. I suggest everybody do this! Prices are pre-increase... so add about 35%
Doherty backing plate $66
spacers 2x$17=$34
cone $55
enricher knob $14
