Doggone

Steve drove in from somewhere west of Green Bay, Wisconsin yesterday with the missus. . . . and a puppy dog.
It was priceless, the expression on his face when he finally uncovered his new toy. Priceless. . . .so glad for him, and glad for me. Loved the bike but really had no use for it. (Can't quite explain that. . . .it's complicated).
Too expensive as garage art so I let it go and it looks like it went to a really fine new dog owner (said he'd been wanting one for the last eight years). I'm hoping I'll see Steve's name on this site in the not too distant future. Thanks to all and I really enjoy this site. I'll probably have a few leftovers from the bike that I'll need to relieve myself of but for right now I'm just keeping them as mementos.

Congrats on the sale... :2thumbs:
Thanks Rob. . . . did want to mention that though I've used Chopper Exchange in the past to try and sell bikes, this time it worked!! eBay's too expensive (along with PayPal) and so I tried them all. Craigslist, Cycle Trader, eBay classified ($2.50 total) and finally Chopper Exchange. Only took about four weeks and it's done. Now if I can avoid looking at them (Ridges and K9x) I should be alright!!
