Just a little side note of my troubles friday with the dog. The reason I was getting a new rear tire was the tread splice had started to split open on my Avon (only 2500 miles :down

Already filed a complaint. The shop I bought the tire from was replacing it free and said they would remove and replace it free also. I thought great, let them do the work. First mistake.....after they installed the tire bike cranks up and remove it from the stall. I stand around and talk a little, get ready to leave and the beeping horn and flashing lights start. I think its the battery and luckly he has one. Second mistake....I drop $90.00 for a BikeMaster 300 battery. Its made in China and even that battery case looks cheap. Bike still messsing up after battery install. Get a ride home, hook up trailer and get the bike. Leave bike in trailer while I'm working on it. I'm starting to panic now. I'm wanting to go to BBBQ thursday. Its 11:00 at night. I'm thinking EHC now. Check everything around the EHC and all wires close to it. Get online and get a lot of great advice :2thumbs:. Go outside and fix it. If your bike was running good and you work on something and after you finish there is a problem, start there in that area!! Saturday morning......Go out to the trailer and crank bike (great sound hearing it running) trip is back on. Move it into the garage, drink some coffee and decide to go for a ride. Tried to start bike and the battery is dead. I'm thinking no way, just bought the battery yeasterday. Yank the battery out and go back to motorcycle shop that I bought the battery from. Guess what.....there closed on saturday's. Take the battery to another shop and they check it and its bad. I got one day or 2 cranks out of that battery. Buy another battery, another Interstate battery like I had and left at the shop that is closed on saturday's. Another $95.00 and I'm up and running again. Rode some saturday, sure felt great and the trips back on. Moral of the story.......If you can do it yourself, do it. And DON'T buy cheap batteries. Interstate may not be the best battery, but the old one I had was 2 1/2 years old and still worked. See you people in Fayetteville
