I'm sure a couple of you guy's have had this happen, running great and all of a sudden all of the light's on the speedo, turn signals, and the horn came on!!!
Dead in the water.... I messed with the wires and kept turning the key on and off! All the light's were coming on th ehc! Then after messing with it for 20 minutes or so, it start's up and run's great, got it home about 5 miles!
Any ideals???

Sounds like another bad connection dude!! I would first check all the wires going to the battery then start at the EHC by removing the cables and looking for problems (be sure to get yourself a big tube of di-electric grease). Also check all your lights as this can be a possible source. Has your scoot seen water lately? One last trick is disconnect the battery for a few seconds then reconnect. Good Luck!

Thanks slow, It hasn't seen water since May. I'll probably pull the ehc connectors and lube it up!!! Just wierd!!

Too weird Rottie! Anything strange happen to the speedo -- needle swings or ODO blank out?

Maybe a freak set of shorts in the harness under the tank ??? -- lines for the horn, front signals and tach all run under there.

The needle stuck at 60, the signal light's where flashing and the oil and nutral light where on! Wierd is right, like it was posessed! I'm going to have to take short trips, until I can figure out what it is.

This is a sign of a weak battery. How old is it. Have you checked the voltage.
Also, what lights come on on the EHC? Any of the fault lites?

Most likely battery.

This looks like the same issue with my bike this morning. Did you ever find the problem?
