I don't really baby the Dog, and I just hit around 3k miles and was on the way home and power shifted into 2nd (as I've done before) and the front end was airborne... Surprised the hell out of me, and put a huge grin on my face. I can only hope it gets better.:D

So a couple of years back, there was a poster here who said he could wheelie his big dog, everyone doubed him and said they wanted proof, which he never did. In the last week, several are saying they are wheeling, or lifting the front tire.

So I ask, lets see pics...:2thumbs:

I got a garage full of toys I can wheelie with, but have never had the inclination to pop the front end off the ground on my pup. Not once.

I can get my Screaming Eagle Vrod to pop it's front end up but not the dog, maybe if you try to do a 0-60 in 3.9 seconds like the Big Dog advertisement says then....
They are also claiming a 42 MPG on the 2009 K-9

I get 40+ mpg on mine, and I ride fairly aggressive.

I've had the front end unload, but I don't think mine has ever left the ground.

I wish I had more money.
I watched a video that the guy was talking about. He did and it was big. Guy did some kick ass burnout/holeshots too.

I've had mine pop up about a foot off the ground when I left hard at a stop light and shifted into second. When you dump the clutch in first gear it just spins the tire but when you hit second, HOLD ON!

mine has come off the ground going thru intersections (trying to beat the light) but only 6-8 inches or so.

Wasn't there a Big Dog commercial where one of the guys riding a Big Dog through a neighborhood was doing a wheelie? He was standing on the seat I think.

That is a bigdog doing a wheelie but this other guy is on a pit and is only 22 or 23. His dad owns or is part owner of Gateway Bigdog here in the STL. The bike is an 03 pit and has a 117 all madded up. Pushing between 140 and 150 hp. The kid is the real deal. Even I didn't believe it at first. I talked to his Pa and then looked the vid up on the myspace or youtube and actually posted it here at one time. Greg is the dads name and he also owns a machine shop. Pretty convenient when it comes to having a bike shop too. So with that being said Gateway Bigdog is the shit. I have had nothing but good experiences with them.
