Did you check your rear wheel alignment? Mine started squealing at around 3k miles and I rode it that way for another 3k. I finally jacked the rear up and realized the dealer who changed my rear tire had put the wheel back on out of alignment. I straightened it out, but it never stopped squealing until I changed to a Panther belt at 10k miles. If your rear wheel is aligned, a little soap, belt dressing, vasaline, or WD40 will cure it for awile. Guys told me not to use WD40 but it never seemed to hurt my belt. Just rub it on the side.
