Just finished up the dog today after about 5 months . I tore the top end down and sent the heads to John Sachs and had larger valves (2.02 int. 1.615 ex.) installed and port job done. ended up shortening the cylinders down .049 and honed. Installed new rings, .600 cam,XXX super G, Thunderheart ignition, dual coil setup with the Vulcan works motor mount. Also ordered RB racing 2-1 pipe.
All I can say is WOW
that 117 woke up. I still need to put the Bandit clutch in.
