So I'm eaded down rte 29 this monring. Just past one exit I see three cars on the shoulder backing up.
Just past this there is another idiot in the right most lane (right turn lane) backing up almost into a Corvette that's almost at a dead stop cause of that moron when suddenly the Vette turns into the middle lane (where I am).
I'm on the brakes -- rear wheel locks and she starts sliding the rear to the left.
Another 5 ft and I'd have made it between the vette and other car -- no such luck I nail the back quarter panel with the front wheel and the back with me and the rest of the bike.
Now I'm laying on the road, pissed as hell -- I just got this bike after the accident in July.
I'm ok -- road rash on wrist amd elbow (slight). My knee is starting to swell up something fierce but with the bad knee that's no surprise.
As to the K-9
Front fender paint is damaged
Headlight bucket damaged
both left side turn signals
License plate bracket sheered off.
This has been a really shitty year for me.
