a set of Supertrapp Mean Mothers pipes from a 2006 Big Dog K-9 will fit my 2007 Chopper ? The used set I found has the mounting brackets with them but I'm sure I will have to fabricate these brackets or mine to make them work but the pipes should fit my bike, yes?

Not sure what the differances are but they have different MM exhaust part numbers.

06 K-9 [Part No. 193-000004-01]

07 Chopper [Part No. 193-000008-01]

Thanks HD, do you think it's possible that the difference may very well be the brackets and not the actual pipes? I mean they share the same engine so fitment to the exhaust ports and clearance to the engine should be the same I would think.
