does a 08 ehc fit a 05??

I thought the later 08's had different style plugs

I was told by BDM that in the middle of '08 they changed to male plugs on EHC because of water problems. Old ones were gold then dark yellow, they work, newer ones were blue or black, with male plugs.....won't work. The number BDPP gave me was 176-000003-00. And he said the 3 could be a 2 or a 10, hope this helps. I also need an EHC for my '05 Ridgeback, I'm sittin' dead in the water right now, waitin' on Wire Plus Kit.
