Does anyone know where I can buy a canister (tube) that mounts to frame for registration, insurance, etc?

commonly called "stash tube" good for holding things other than papers (zigzag, OCB, etc,) but most cops know to look there anyway.

I keep my registration and insurance card in a small ziplock bag under the battery strap. does not interfere with anything and is always there, if needed.

Same here, best place on the dog. Ins cards, registration, paper and small pencil and $50.00

I have two on mine, don't know why, I just did it and to be different. anyway, I thought they were a good idea and they have caps on the top and bottom, but within 2 months all caps are stuck on and cant get any of them to unscrew.:angry:

Try a Strap wrench. wont scratch and should break it loose. then maybe lube the threads with a clear lube just a little..

Yeah I thought about strap wrench idea also just haven't tried it yet. Then grease the threads and O - rings while they are off. I used to keep my insurance in one and a small tire puncture repair kit in the other.

You have to be careful with the caps on the stash tube. To loose and it will come up missing, along with the contents.i keep my papers under the seat like most everyone does.
