Yes and that and the big guy up above looking out for her. Amazing that she had so little injuries.

Lots of stuff happend to take some of the impact. Tire, forks, and her hands extended out all helped take some of the hit away. Still that said it was a very hard impact and Im sure she was glad to be wearing a full face helmet. Lucky gal.

Wow, yes I think you are right Bobby the bike took the initial impact. She still took a hard hit, glad she is ok though. :2thumbs:

#1 there was NO landing ramp, she misjudged the ramp and was going WAY to fast & went WAY to high not to have a landing ramp. Look at the truck which is 6' high. then pause the video. get a 12'' ruller and calculate the can into inches then look at how many inches up she goes. rough estimate 50' high. she's lucky to be alive, if she even survived the wreck. #2 How do you know she did survive?

I'd have to think the helmet was key to not getting killed or at the very minimum a very serious brain injury. I think if she has many more crashes like that she will have permanent damage due to the repeated concusions.

Definitely helped with the head and facial injuries. Who were the assholes that planed this flawed stunt, children? Is this your way of promoting helmet use?
Nine, I raced motocross for yrs, and until recently so did my kids. She hit that ramp way to fast for a single ramp jump, #2 She kept her throttle full out causing the bike to rotate nose over. When the rotation started she should have hit the back break which would have stopped the rotation and even leaned back to try to right the fall. #3 bikes like this were never ment to fall 50-60' streight down on asphault. Most than likely would have broken the frame @ the neck. She's just lucky her next wheeled devise isn't a wheel chair!

If you look closely there is a landing ramp(look at the lower left corner of vid)
She over shot the whole thing.

Really?? I've always thought just the opposite happens.
Braking would drop the nose, gassing would drop the rear.
Do an internet search and you'll see.

I too did some racing, think you ment to say...if you hit the throttle in mid air that brings the front up, tap the brake, front end down. If you listen she did hit the throttle, she was just too inexperienced to perform this kind of a jump.
By the way, I did wear a helmet while racing because I rode on the edge all the time with others running balls out all around me.

Not to nitpick, but applying the back brake actually lightens the rear. Applying the throttle weights the rear end. That's why guys that start to nosedive apply throttle. I used to race MotoX too.
