Do ineed are wire or ????

2002 big dog pitbull backfiring badly when trying to accelerate. Changed plugs,wires,coil,intake gasket,and cleaned carb.Also when tring to accelerate and backfires through tail pipes it cuts off alot. Puts me in mind of a car thats way out of time or something. Any ideas?My mechanic has tried all the fore metioned items and says he thinks its electrical and says he doesnt have the big dog software so ill be picking up today.Some have suggested wire plus to solve the issue. what do yall think.

Also my mechanic said at one point it wouldnt start back up unless he unplugged 1 of the spark plug wires. im guessing the front cylinder.

This might be off the cuff, but did he check out your cam sensor and make sure that thing wasn't shorting out? I know several on here have had that issue...

I would also check your cam sensor and you could also check your valves to see if they are adjusted correctly. What do your plugs look like???

he changed the plugs not sure of cam sensor

Hey Beano, what are you gapping your plugs at ?
