Do I have to change the intake manifold when swapping From E carb to G carb ?

I am currently in the process of rebuilding my recent 05 Chopper purchase. I have the bike torn down and am fixing or replacing all issues I find. I have replaced the entire harness, electrical system and EHC. Other parts I have replaced include but not limited to are hand controls, tach and speedo, battery, compression releases, Clutch cable, clutch basket, tires, turn signals, head light and 2 pistons and rings.
Yeah the bike was in pretty rough shape, didn't realize how bad when I bought it. But here we are !

Anyway next I am planning some performance up grades as well. I am probably going to pull my entire top end and bring it to John Sachs for some up grades. Some head work maybe a cam swap and I would like to upgrade the carb as well.
Which brings me to my current question, do You have to swap the intake to change from an E carb to a G carb.
Was thinking of purchasing the carb to bring to John.

Here is a list of what I did to mine in the course of 6 months. Its a wicked machine, nothing like any Harley I ever rode.
1) S&S tuned air induction
2) S&S G carb, bored with a Thunder Jet installed by John Sachs
3) Complete head job with 202 intake valves, 1.615 exhaust, upgraded springs, ported and set compression to match the cam by John
4) Cylinder height shaved .040 down and punched .030 over by John
5) 600 S&S cam
6) Comp lifters
7) S&S rocker boxes (Replaced the TP rocker boxes)
8) Programable ignition module
9) 32 tooth pulley and shorter belt from Barnes
10) Bandit clutch set up
11) RnB 2 into 1 Pro stock Challenger exhaust system

Sounds like I will have a similar setup ! I have the programable ignition and Bandit clutch also.

Anyone Know where to get the best price on a S&S G carb and Manifold ? I need to change my Air cleaner as well, Bike came with a spike and John said to change it.

I would check revzilla or j&p cycles. For the manifold, you probably want to check with John to see what size you will need. Since you are shaving the jugs, you may need a narrower manifold than came stock on the 117's.

Yeah, Was looking on eBay and there is some good pricing. Some say you can't trust the eBay sellers. Do you know what seller you bought your carb from ? Thanks for the info !
