Do I have the only Big Dog with orange tail lights/brake lights??

Hey guys I did some searching and this has me baffled. I now got my K9 running but I noticed when it was delivered it had orange tail lights in the rear and when applying the brakes the orange gets brighter of course. Im pretty sure thats not gonna be legal so I guess Im gonna be starting the search for some new assemblies or possibly some red LED boards. Its an 08 K9 if anyone can point me in the right direction. Also anyone have any idea why they would be orange????

Are they factory style signals or added aftermarket? Sounds like you have front turn signal lights on the rear.

Check the fronts to see if they are red....

They look like the factory LED lights so that was my guess that someone replaced them with front ones for some reason. Im gonna take the lens cover off and see if i can just change the board.

Thats crazy, are the lens at least red? Or do you have clear lenses on them as well?

If the boards are Orange just buy a RED lense cover. Boom problem solved.

My fronts are amber/orange LEDs with smoked covers while the rear are red LEDs with clear lens covers.

They are clear lenses with orange LEDs just like the fronts. Im gonna try to find some red boards cause i plan on running smoked lenses with them.

The part number for the red LED's are: 03-0485-00 REV A, as I read it off one I replaced..

In Sweden we must have orandge in the back, I think it is in most of Europe
so dont toss the leds, pass them along.....:up:

Kindly change the light cover to color that is legal to your country. Some of the countries have orange colors on the rear part.

I know you can get the red from BDPP, but they dont sell just the boards anymore, you have to buy the entire assembly.....$$$$$
