Many Bigdog owners have installed aftermarket pegs and grips from Dlxprodox, I being one of them. If you have a set or intend to get one in the near future – read on.
I had purchased a complete set for both my dogs a while ago from Alex at Xoprodox, may he rest in peace. A week ago in my pursuit of perfection I reached out to Miguel from Dlxprodox (also a forum member) and wondered if he could help me eliminate the slight rattle that came from the throttle grip. Much to my surprise he had engineered a bearing based handle bar insert that did just that – eliminate the throttle side rattle. So after a quick conversation I decided to purchase 2 of them ($ 35 each).
Just finished installing them – WOW what a difference, well worth the money and more. The install takes approximately 30 minutes and is a breeze. More than eliminating the rattle which is does completely; it adds a smooth roll to the throttle as a result of the bearing. Strongly recommend this to any and all out there that have a set of grips from Dlxprodox – Enjoy.
