I have an 08 mastiff my right directional front and back dont work i was trying to figure out if its the switch

Could be the hand control switch...does everything else work on that right hand control correctly? I mean it could be a short or the switch.[/QUOTE]

It could be the bubble on the pcb board. You can carefully peel it up and clean the contact. It happened to my horn button once.

As Mr. Wright said, check that the plug is fully plugged in. If the directional is on the end of the plug, it may not be making contact, but the rest are.

Makes sure u put some dielectric grease in the connector when putting it back together....if u wash the hand control or ride in the rain it can make them corrode with white funk and cause it to do it again
