dimensions for custom sissy bar

I'm looking into having a custom sissy bar made for my 2008 mastiff but need some dimensions to start the process. Anyone know how wide to make the bar, the diameter of the hole, and the size of the thread up inside that mounts from the bottom? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Bar has to fit the struts, mine used the bolts that hold the logs from the struts in. I can mic a few things if needed.

I have the 18" sissy bar, but I'd like to build a custom one too, just to be "different". I'll just make mine fit in the strut holes. Maybe something with a deadly-looking sharp point up top, hehe.

Check out twisted steel fabrication. The guy does great work. I'm having him make mine as soon as I figure out all the dimensions he needs to do it.
