Different sound - Different Cam?

Quick question for those that have had a .600 cam installed...did you notice a change in the sound of the motor / exhaust? If so, was it for the better?

I noticed a bit more of a poppy tone to it. Not like backfiring, but just a more aggressive pop in the exhaust tone.

Just like a small block or big block Chevy when one installs a larger cam.

Just doing a cam change you will hear a little difference in the tone of the exhaust. If you change the compression and cam you will be able to hear a noticable difference! Mine sounds sick!

sounds good John:2thumbs: I have my baffles cut down to just under 5 inches....and with the .600 cam...has a deeper throatier sound...scoot looks good!

I installed a woods .590 W8 and you can here a little bit stronger thump. Still running Mean Mothers with full baffle. Could not ride it yet because of rain all weekend:bang:

For some reason that absolutely cracked me up...the funny part is if you think about it and say it, that is pretty close to what a big twin sounds like!

Gettin the same thing done with a set of Martin Bros Ghetto Blasters, no baffles. Will post when I get her back. :2thumbs:
