Deutsch Connectors

Looking at the connectors on the bike are they Deutsch or something else BD is using to create confusion? Looking at wiring an ignition.

If I wrong you can call me a dumbass just don't use caps been a long day:bang:

I think you are correct.They use a special plastic tool to remove the wire from the connector.Only problem is the crimping tool that installs the pin connector on is expensive. 05chop

I nave always been able to use a very small screwdrver or needle to get htese pins out of the connector should not be a problem.

Hoat i also have used the screw driver trick.The tool saves from breaking the connector.The crimp is small and like ten per inch of crimp marks on the wire connector.Not looking forward to any wire repairs on this small wire. 05chop

You can also use a set of dentist style pickers...

I agree with Sul, I fiddled with putting new ends on a ign. module for about 30 minutes didn't do one and said f-it. Will cut splice, solder and heat shrink.
