detonation on deceleration

Since moving to Florida I've been having detonation on deceleration. Nothing has changed bike wise in 4 years. I put a set of V/H short shots and a K/N air filter on the 107 years ago and had it dyno tuned, all was good till a couple weeks ago. Sent to the local shop three times and they keep swapping jets around and still haven't found the problem. Any ideas? I was thinking that back pressure could be a problem seeing how I dont have baffles, and thought about putting a bolt threw the pipe, if I'm wrong about this let me no!

Where did you move from, what was the altitude? If it were perhaps Colorado or someplace like that, I could see how moving down might have an effect on the Carb but other than that I don't see how the backfiring would be directly related to the move. What's your set up? 107CC with S&S Carb?

Sounds like you are running lean, at least that's my experience with decel pop. You may have a leak at the intake to heads connections also. When they re-jetted did they go larger or smaller on the main jet?

Jeromie, I too would check for any intake leaks to see if something may have worked loose. Also, there are some on this site that have installed something that looks like a big washer attached to a bolt and is placed a few inches up your pipe, but damned if I can think of the name of it. I think if you search "baffle" you'll find it. It looks easy enough to fabricate once you take a look at it. Help me out guys. What's the name of that device? Master baffle, master baiter, something like that. :job:
