if you have a smart phone you can down load a sound meter app and measure it yourself. Some music venues/ police, have sound meters that they may take a reading for you.
Which says "...This section is applicable to a person operating a street motorcycle that is newly manufactured on or after January 1, 2013, or a street motorcycle with aftermarket exhaust system equipment that is newly manufactured on or after January 1, 2013."
Thank you for the link to that document , that is good news . But it sounds aas tho they are just talking abiout the label but there also talking about lowering the decible from 106 to 82 for all bikes , nothing def yet tho.
I will find out where I stand when I go for a sticker next month and if its 85 db like Ringo said I will be all set.
a friend checked the decible level on my bike it is 116 , lol come to find out the inner baffle was removed , what a dumb ass ,lol.
So I am looking for a baffle if anyone knows where I can find one , tried JP cycles already , they dont have any.
Then, leave it like it is and tell the first police officer that their Decibel meter is broken and go get it fixed.:roll::roll:
I am not the person to comply like you are. I would move to another state before I let them get away with this new law. But, I would fight like crazy before this becomes new law.
