Very funny how Goofy can straight up be an asshole to someone and I get a warning for discussing statistics...:loony:
M-P is over here from shovelhead usa, just to mess with people. He enjoys it.
Actually I was answering him with the same sort of humor. He has a cool bike and might turn out decent someday.(or maybe not)
If your feelings got hurt.....oh well.:nopity:

Ok, back to the thread, it is what it is....

This goes along my last thread about Dealers selling Dogs over 40K...According to BDM, no Dog left their Factory over, but some Dealers had them...They took advantage of the Market and the Demand....Kind of like selling water during a natural disaster... 40k....

I've talked to the majority of dealers east of the mississippi about a new 07-10 K9 and none of them will budge on their asking prices.:bang:

Plenty of bikes between 22K and 36K+ on Cycle Trader. It certainly depends on what your looking for. Now this all depends on if your looking or whining. just sayin.

Give things a few months. They will get tired of paying the floor plan each month and start coming off some prices.

Bad dog, no bisquit
Was at Black Dog this Saturday and all the dogs were gone. All of them sold and he has a small list of guys look'n for anything that comes in to be sold. 07 K9 n the shop for service with low miles sold for 19500 this week. I think prices will come down but not a low as many think. There is still a good bit of demand for these bikes, and bikes are still moving off the dealer floors as prices drop into High end Harley pricing range.

You know... Even though the economy stinks people are still spending money on what they want. Plenty of cash buyers in our neck of the woods. Also, there are no bikes in the wholesale market as of yet in cny...and when there is (rare) somebody bids to the moon! huh..

Getting close to riding season too. Craigslist is filling up.

Especially now as interest rates rise w inflation...price of money will increase and banks will tighten credit by increasing threshold for lending.

Dealers will deal to sell their inventory now, or be stuck holding depreciating inventory for extended period of time.

Dealers pick.

Then again, why in the hell would I pay a
dollar for a bike that can't get wet?
What!!!!!! Come ride with me or Knotso and we'll see how wet they run in the rain, sleet or snow!!!!!!

But he would pay a dollar for a bike that'll leave an oil trail (Harley GPS) to find his way home.

My doggie loves running in the rain and his tail just keeps wagging.
A dollar? Shit...

I've got more invested in my old Shovel than a Big Dog is worth once you roll it off the showroom floor, and they don't leak when you build 'em right.

You would think an old leatherneck would be smarter than putting that kind of money in a run of the mill shovel.

Having never rode a BDM product for any length of time, you are not even remotely qualified to say what a big dog is and what it is not, you are however highly overqualified at being jealous of all Big Dog Motorcycles, to which that is obvious to all.

A shovel hd, that is the harley that looks like the other 900,000 harleys out there. Lot of ppl have one, in the back corner of the garage under a tarp.

But to each their own and if you are happy with your scoot, so be it.

My Harley gets very little loving since the Big Dog became the pack leader.

Really! I was pissed the other day that I didn't take my $100 rain suit and was soaked to the bone on my ride home from work. The Dog didn't have any issues but I did because I wasn't wearing my full body condom to keep bone dry. The Dog did need some Stripper Juice for some light clean up.:D
