I know there is info on the site in regards to battery tenders but can't pinpoint it. I see these all over ebay for under $30. Is this tender good enough? Suggestions? Is there a need for a Senior

I've never had a prob with the junior. Had it for 4-5 years. Also a member vendor has a good unit as well.

Now Paul Sr is havin trouble with junior but thats a different deal

Lug Harness

Is that standard? Compatible with the dog?

Yep shoud be just 2 eyelets one bolts to the neg and one to the pos on the bat. I had enough room on mine to bolt it to the side lugs of the bat so I wouldn't stack up a bunch of wires. And maybe parinoid here but I plug mine in to surge protector I got for my shop. I have had lightning kick the breakers in my electrical panel before.

Oh and check your bike out closley some models have the harness factory installed. Usually hangs down on the primary side behind the plastic cover.

Its virtually the same as the one Big Dog sales but with a Big Dog sticker on it, I bought mine from the Harley dealer on sale. No problems...:2thumbs:

Excuse my ignorance. What I meant to say is that I don't think I need any of the adapters I should be able to plug the charger right to the connection the bike came with???

You should be able to hook right up, if the bike came with the adapter. The adapter should have a female/male plug end..
