image.jpg So I had the extremely pleasant experience of riding my brand new 2010 BDM Bulldog Bagger today, as I spent last week bringing families together. However, the radio is dead on arrival. I'm sure it's a bad connection somewhere but if any of you have had a similar experience please share before I'll rip this thing apart. Thanks in advance for any input...

Agreed, not a bagger guy either. But if I need to make a beer run wouldn't mind having a sweet looking ride like that to do it on.

Any update on the radio?

I'm working on it still. Fuses are fine, constant power is there, just missing power from the ignition. There is a black box under the fairing that I suspect at this time. The search continues. Funny how things take so much longer on a bike you never wrenched on before. Especially without a shop manual. If anybody has the chapter on wiring on a bagger, please forward it, it is not part of the ones posted on here....

Wonder if that was ever released. Might try sending Matt Moore an email. There was only like 150 of those baggers made and it was all while shit was kinda hitting the fan over there.

I hear ya always easier on a bike you've wrenched on before. I actually love the fact I rewired both bikes because now I know how it all ties in.

One more thing all radios I've seen have a fuse in the back of them could be the radio fuse in the radio itself. Although if you don't have power to it when key is on then it wouldn't hit the fuse yet.

Radio is on now, had to short that freaken black box, but its on. It just doesn't turn off automatically until I get around to work on that. Another issue is the speedometer needle, it just barely moves, like showing 30MPH at 80MPH real speed. The digital portion of it works fine though, so I have to choose between having a speedo or a tach.

What are the longest extensions made for the forward footpegs?
