Dead Speedo/Odometer

Testing Pins

Ok so here is what I have measuring with ohmmeter:

Pin 1/Input >> E2 = 0.0; power/red wire/B31

  • Pin 1/Input >> E4 & E1 = OL

Pin 2/Ground >> E4 = 0.0; ground/black wire/B8
  • Pin 2/Ground >> E1 (signal/green wire/B50) the meter read out flucuates (8.0-9.3) but never goes to OL
    1. Is there an issue with this reading?
  • Pin 2/Ground >> E2(power/red wire/B31) = OL

Preliminary tests look good now just need to get the speedo lens/cover glued back on and will be good to go!! Thanks to Bro1, Earl and Raywood's tutorial on face replace I was able to get the speedo back in working condition:2thumbs::2thumbs:

Honorable mention goes to Bruce even though I was able to figure it out I appreciate his offer to help :up:

Good job Todd, its a bit of a pain huh. Didn't see this thread before but glad you gotter done :)

Hey I know its kinda late but just seen your post did you get the spots you needed for the re soider if not i can send you a picture of the spots...
