I have an 04 Mastiff with what I believe to be the newer style EHC. I have absolutely no power to my bike. (No lights ... nothing!) I thought I was having problems with my key switch so I cut the two wires and wire-nutted them together just to by-pass the switch. Unfortunately, there was still no response. In the days leading up to complete failure ... there would be a pause between the time I turned the key on to the time all lights came on (ranging between 10 to 45 seconds). Is this an indication that I've now fried my EHC? Or is there something else I should be looking for?

Are there any lights lit on the EHC?

Is there power getting to the EHC?

And is your battery in good shape?

what color is your ehc?the updated one is of a yellow color with a pig tail wire.like dead said check the connectors.make sure the ehc is bolted down.if not will cause problems.i found out the hard way.good luck bro
