Pre-emptive strike!

My wife talked me into just takin the dog over to High Performance Custom Cycle before life gets ugly here at the homestead. I called it her pre-emtive strike, she knows how some of us get when the weather is warm and the bike is down. I would like to extend a heart felt Thank You to everyone that offered help, this place is truely full of great folks and I hope to meet many of you in this and many other riding seasons to come.

I had very similar issues with my '02 Pit Bull last week. She left me stranded on the side of the road. After borrowing a trailer & taking a half day vacation, I managed to get her home.
Tank was full, battery charged, all lights worked, but NO SPARK. I was sure it was the coil. I called a local shop & they had the ACCEL coil for $32, or a stock version for $25.
Verdict? My plug wires from my coil came loose. That was it. The coil is hidden behind a billet aluminum plate, which makes the wires near impossible to see. They just simply vibrated loose.
