Ray, all of your road trips turn into adventures with great stories. Riding with you would be an interesting experience. You and Kaptain try to have a boring ride for the remainder of the trip.

Especially riding in Texas in the hot sun. I don't miss that plus I'm acclimatized to Washington State now ha-ha. You guys be careful, you're messing with a big state. I've traveled it numerous times East to West and it felt like I was never going to hit the next states border...:roll::roll::roll:

No shit... been up here too long. Every time I go home now it's just too damn hot no matter what time of year it is.
The Pirates Cove
For some adventure Kapt's brother takes is to this private club called the Pirates Cove last night. This is a dry county so this bar is pretty busy for a Monday night! As I'm standing at the bar observing all the patrons I realize its just full of drunk ass men and women slobbering drink pawing at each other. One young girl was so drunk she couldn't keep her cloths on and was fondling some day slob that was wearing a t shirt that was 4 sizes to small for his day ass.
Kapt and his brother were shooting pool and having a good time. Pretty soon it was Lights on and they were closing up. Seems no one was ready to go and the staff had a hard time collecting drinks after last call. The there of us meander outside and all hell breaks loose. Shouting match start over some silly thing and its starts getting louder with people getting into other peoples faces to see who can yell the loudest. Soon fat not is right in the middle of it with Kapt's brother and thinks are getting ugly. Fat not is packing on his hip easily seen under his undersized shirt. You can tell its just about to erupt when Kapt throws his brother in the truck after stepping into the middle to breakup the shouting match. Tempers were flaring so was time to get the hell out of there. The drink girl that couldn't keep her cloths on jumped in her car and took off. I told the bouncer that he shouldn't let her drive out of there. She couldn't even stand up! All he said is he told her she shouldn't drive.
It was a wild night for sure but we survive the Pirates Cove and made it back to where we are staying. Sure can't wait to get the hell out of here!
We should here about the bike today. Hopefully its just a simple bolt extraction and no parts will be required. We will be moving on to Dallas and Rufroggy's house tomorrow or Thursday. Hotter than hell out here but had some relief in that we got in the pool here but it was to fill of screaming kids!
I need to get out of here!!!

I'd a been there in a flash if I had been anywhere close to you guys (either with a trailer or a battery and tools)!
And BTW, I have been in some of those Texas bars and dancehalls when I was stationed at Ft. Hood after Nam!

Lena @ Strokers has overnighted the parts we need to the shop that has the kapt's biKe. Thanks Lena, see ya in a couple days.
Hopefully the shop will get the parts on tomorrow and we can get into Dallas for a couple days.
We will be staying with rufroggy. Will update when we leave here.
