Taking my girl today and dropping her off at the "day spa" to be pampered. Getting new .600 installed,new battery,belt adjusted,and overflow tube removed.

Sounds good! One question thou are you changing the valve springs as well? The stock spring is rated at .585. Just sayin.

I have Anthony(aka Razor) doing the work on her....doesn't need bigger springs....the 117 was built around the .600 cam but EPA made them use a smaller cam to meet emissions,so the springs are strong enough already.

Well not tryin to dispute but with the .546 cam they also only installed a single wound .585 spring in 08. I have a 08 ridgeback as well. Pull the covers and installed S&S roller tip rocker arms, Quicke pushrods and a .590 Woods Cam.

Like I said just check to see what ya got cause they did reduce the springs.

Let us know how it turns out. I wanted more cam but didn't do to the springs I have in mine.

Well all I can say about the .600 is WOW!!!!! Holy Sheet this thing moves now. The power is instant in any gear,everything is smoother,and the sound is crisper. I cant believe I've waited this long to change cams.
